Tooling Capabilities:
RestoLine’s cleaning methods remove the hardest incrustations from piping systems. Utilizing high pressure waterjet nozzles, the tooling effectively scours and dislodges all undesirable material from the pipe wall without damage or negative impact. The robotic centralizer allows for complete control over all cleaning parameters. The drive system ensures the advance rate and overlap of cleaning patterns provide complete surface coverage of the pipe wall.
Surface Preparation:
Pre-Line surface preparation is the single most important function required for a successful PipeGuard™ lining application. RestoLine’s robotic tools consist of modular components to accommodate (UHP) waterblasting, abrasive blasting and mechanical surface preparation. Selecting the proper cleaning method is determined by the substrate material and condition, suitable surface profiles for cement and steel substrates are in accordance to (SSPC-SP6-13 / NACE3-6) Standards. The use of inhibitors during the flushing process ensures there is no flash rusting and the remaining surface will be free from non-visible contamination (chlorides, salts of ferrous oxide and ferrous chloride).

Containment
The cleaning centralizer’s rotating apparatus, coupled with a high pressure jetting nozzle, generates pulverized debris. All debris and effluent is transported to containment via a jet-vac shroud, located behind the cleaning lance.

Tuberculation Removal in Water Mains:
Tuberculation and corrosion is a large problem for unlined iron water mains around the world. The innovative RestoJet technology allows for non-aggressive mechanical removal of all heavy corrosion deposits (tuberculation), and biological contaminants (biofilm) from any affected water main. The multi-purpose functionality of the tooling serves as a disinfection and chlorination unit for flushing while precisely controlling the chloride concentration.

The RestoJet cleaning system restores 100 percent flow capacity for any size diameter pipeline at a fraction of the cost compared to alternative remediation methods. Internal corrosion is reduced to flushable waste and captured in a containment unit. RestoJet trenchless technology provides a cost effective solution for removing corrosion and tuberculation from water mains. This methodology removes all contaminants from crevices, joints and areas of section loss throughout the host pipe.
